Poker at Berkeley is UC Berkeley's premier poker organization, built around weekly game nights, major tournaments, and an official university course (Stat 198: Introduction to Poker). Members develop poker theory, strategy, and mathematical thinking, and connect with career opportunities in quantitative research and trading. Flagship events include an annual Fall tournament and a Berkeley vs. Stanford tournament with prize pools up to $10,000, both free to enter.

Spring 2026, late April. 150 participants (75 from Berkeley, 75 from Stanford). Online qualifier followed by 2 full days of in-person play. Mini career fairs held on both in-person days.

Jump Trading Mini-Tournament
Date TBD. 50 people, 1 day in-person, with guest speakers from Jump Trading.
