NewSpace at Berkeley prepares UC Berkeley students for careers in the commercial space economy through three main programs: a semester-long DeCal covering launch, satellites, infrastructure, policy, and startup funding; the annual Berkeley Space Symposium, a full-day conference with keynotes, panels, and a career fair; and direct connections to 40+ industry partners including NASA, SpaceX, and Blue Origin for internships and mentorship. Members also have access to a 100+ alumni network at leading aerospace companies.
