Hackathons at Berkeley organizes large-scale tech events, most notably Cal Hacks, billed as the largest collegiate hackathon, held annually in San Francisco. The club also runs the UC Berkeley AI Hackathon and Cubstart, a beginner-to-intermediate web and iOS development DeCal. Members work across teams spanning logistics, tech, sponsorship, marketing, and design to produce these events. It's a hands-on org for students who want to build the infrastructure around hacking culture, not just participate in it.

Flagship annual hackathon hosted in San Francisco, described as the largest collegiate hackathon. Most recent edition was Cal Hacks 12.0 in October 2024; next event planned for October 2026.
UC Berkeley AI Hackathon
Annual AI-focused hackathon hosted on the UC Berkeley campus. The 2024 edition was covered by the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the largest AI hackathons held. The 2025 edition has also taken place.
Cubstart Hack Night
A hack night event held at the end of the Cubstart web track semester. Spring 2026 edition scheduled for May 1.
Cubstart (CS 198-075 / CS 198-750)
Semester-long DeCal open to Berkeley and non-Berkeley students covering web development (CS 198-750) and iOS development (CS 198-075). Spring 2026 web track begins March 4.
