Microfinance at Berkeley (MFB Consulting) is a student-run nonprofit that delivers strategy consulting and microloan support to small businesses in the Bay Area. Each semester, members work on a select number of consulting projects spanning operations, marketing, growth strategy, and product. As a Tier-1 Kiva trustee, MFB also helps local businesses access 0% interest loans up to $10,000. Members build skills through new-member training, alumni-led workshops, and hands-on client work.
