Danceworx is UC Berkeley's oldest student-run dance organization, founded in 1988. Members audition each semester to join pieces in jazz, contemporary, open, and tap, then rehearse with student choreographers toward a end-of-semester showcase in Zellerbach Hall that draws over 500 attendees. Outside of rehearsals, members bond through bowling nights, movie nights, and a semester-end banquet. Dancers can participate in up to three pieces per semester.
