Raas Ramzat

Raas Ramzat is UC Berkeley's official competitive Raas and Garba team. Raas and Garba are folk dance styles from the Indian state of Gujarat, rooted in Navratri festival traditions and often performed with dandiyas. At the collegiate level, the team blends South Asian and Western influences into high-energy routines. Members train together and compete on the Raas Circuit, with past placements including 1st place in Indiana and 2nd place in Texas and Virginia.
