The oldest and largest student organization sponsored by Berkeley's Economics Department, founded in 1975. Members attend professor luncheons, industry panels, resume workshops, and case competitions. Those who want deeper involvement can apply to one of four committees: Academic Affairs, Professional Affairs, UEA Consulting, or UEA Research, each meeting weekly. The club also runs a semester-long weekend retreat and off-campus socials ranging from trips to San Francisco to a day at the horse races.

Economic Salon
A semesterly event where a team of Academic Affairs representatives presents and hosts an informative discussion on a topic chosen by the committee. Open to the broader UEA membership.

Member Experiences
Semester Overnight Retreat
A weekend-long retreat to destinations across California each semester. Past locations include Marin County, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, and Gualala. Open to lifetime and committee members.
Off-Campus Socials
