180DC Berkeley is a branch of the world’s largest student-based consultancy that works with nonprofits, social enterprises, and corporate CSR divisions on real client projects every semester. Members join project teams to tackle work ranging from nonprofit strategy to ESG optimization to market analysis. Past clients include National Geographic, Microsoft, and the American Heart Association. New members receive professional development training and are not expected to have prior consulting experience.

DEI Panel
Annual panel focused on expanding diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Features invited experts from companies like Google and Salesforce discussing DEI improvements in their organizations.
Member Experiences
Shark Tank
A new-member project where groups of 2–3 research and pitch a local nonprofit to the full club. The competition features a $5,000 prize pool, with winning groups securing donations for their chosen organizations. Past recipients include Insight Housing, Centro Latino de San Francisco, Dorothy Day House, and the Prison Math Project.
Oakland Zoo Eco-Restoration Volunteer Day
Joint social impact volunteering opportunity with The Berkeley Group and BEACN at The Oakland Zoo, working with the zoo's Horticulture Team to remove weeds and collect waste.
The Berkeley Project Day
Every semester, members participate in Berkeley Project Day through The Berkeley Project, working alongside community members to beautify Berkeley, from cleaning up elementary schools to weeding parks.
