Blockchain at Berkeley is an organization with four active departments: consulting, education, design, and research. Consulting members work with enterprise clients like BMW, Microsoft, and UNICEF on blockchain strategy and development. The education team runs two DeCals and a BerkeleyX certificate program with over 150,000 enrolled students. Designers build prototypes and conduct UX research; researchers work on open-source initiatives like Cosmos-IBC and node operations.
