Catholics at Cal is the student fellowship of Newman Hall, a Catholic parish steps from campus run by Dominican friars. Students attend Mass, Confession, and Eucharistic Adoration, and join small groups like Bible studies, SMT committees, and men's and women's faith groups. The Student Ministry Team of 13 student leaders organizes events and service projects. The community connects UC Berkeley students across majors and backgrounds with a shared focus on growing in faith and building lifelong friendships.

Loaves and Fishes Monthly Dinner
A monthly dinner serving community members including homeless neighbors. Recent dinners served 66-83+ guests with home-cooked meals.
YAPS Lecture Series
Lecture series for Young Adult Professionals (ages 22-40). First lecture on different notions of beauty from Aristotle to the present. Newman Lounge, 6:20pm. Snacks and beverages provided.
