Tzu Chi Compassion Relief Foundation is the UC Berkeley chapter of a Buddhist-rooted international humanitarian organization. Members participate in weekly community service events including shoreline cleanups, hot meal distributions, convalescent home visits, recycling drives, sign language learning, and flower arrangement. The organization operates on four missions: Charity, Medical, Education, and Humanistic Culture. Members put compassion into action through hands-on service in the local community.
