Accepted Answer

No. NIB accepts all majors and all years, including exchange students. The case interviews don't test business jargon; they test your ability to solve problems and think on your feet. Most members had never done a case interview before applying.

What kind of clients does NIB actually work with?

NIB has worked with a wide range of organizations including for-profit corporations (Salesforce, Amazon, Best Buy, Kaiser), mission-driven companies (Clif Bar, The Reformation, Heifer International), and nonprofits (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). Projects are semester-long and focus on social and environmental impact.

In your first semester you go through a series of trainings covering research, decking, data analysis, design and prototyping, and pitching. NIB also runs mentorship programs where senior members mentor newer members on a variety of topics.
