Cal Triathlon is one of the largest sports clubs at UC Berkeley and among the top 3 collegiate triathlon programs in the nation, with 13 national titles since 1989. Members train across all three disciplines: coached pool swims, Wednesday spin sessions in the RSF, and group rides through the Berkeley Hills. The team is open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors, and competes at collegiate races each spring culminating in the USAT Collegiate National Championships.

Bearathlon
Annual triathlon race hosted by Cal Tri at the Berkeley Marina. Open to the public. Includes draft-legal sprint, classic sprint, classic sprint relay, mixed team relay, and a beginner-friendly 5K run. Next edition: October 24, 2026.

Virtual Triathlon Challenge (Dean's List)
Open to any USA collegiate triathlete or coach. Includes a virtual swim/run challenge and a virtual triathlon challenge (500 yd swim, 3 Bears TT, 5K run). Cash prizes up to $500 for first place in each event.

Winter Training Camp
Annual training camp for members. Priority spots given to full dues-paying members. Described as one of the most memorable team experiences.
