Cal Women's Rugby is a member-run club sport competing in the D1 Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference against Stanford, UC Davis, Chico State, and others. Preseason practices run in the Fall; the competitive league season is in the Spring. No prior rugby experience is required. The team finished as national runner-up in both 15s and 7s at the 2025 CRAA D1 Championships, and describes its atmosphere as accepting, supportive, competitive, and social.
