Swim Club at Berkeley is a welcoming competitive swim club open to all UC Berkeley affiliates who know all four strokes and can complete an hour-long workout. Members attend optional weekday evening practices at Spieker Pool, compete at travel meets against other college clubs (including Stanford, UCLA, and UC Davis), and participate in team socials throughout the semester. Dues cover a team cap, T-shirt, local meet fees, and discounted entry to travel meets.

Events They Host
Swim-A-Thon
Annual fundraiser where members swim as many laps (25-yard lengths) as possible in one hour at Spieker Pool. Supporters can pledge a flat donation or a per-lap amount. Swimmers typically complete around 150-250 laps.
SCB's First Hosted Meet (Fall 2024)
The club hosted its first-ever home swim meet during Fall 2024.
Time Trials
A relaxed internal meet at Spieker Pool where swimmers race to record baseline times for the season.
