BGSA builds community among incoming and continuing graduate students of African descent across the African diaspora at UC Berkeley. The club provides an organized, active space for Black graduate students to know and support each other, address concerns of the Black community inside and outside the university, and build alliances with other campus organizations and the broader East Bay community.
