Journal of Black Law and Policy (JBLP) (Formerly known as Berkeley Journal of African American Law and Policy)

BJBLP is a Berkeley Law student journal that edits and publishes legal and policy scholarship on issues affecting the Black diaspora, including institutional racism, racial wealth gaps, and anti-Black policy. Members do hands-on editing work: source collection, substantive edits, citation checking, and Bluebooking. Because membership is smaller than many Berkeley Law journals, new members are involved meaningfully in selecting and editing pieces. All members are encouraged to submit their own manuscripts for publication.
