Stiles Hall is a 140-year-old nonprofit at UC Berkeley that creates pathways to self-determination for low-income Black and brown students. Cal students can volunteer as Pathways Coaches, mentoring and tutoring Berkeley and El Cerrito elementary and middle schoolers weekly, or serve as mentors in the Experience Berkeley programs that help high school seniors and community college students complete UC applications. Volunteers can earn 1-3 academic units or fulfill fieldwork requirements.
