CS KickStart

Tech·Education·Community Service/Nonprofit

CS KickStart is a free, one-week summer program run by Berkeley students for incoming women and nonbinary freshmen, held on campus before the semester begins. Participants attend Python, data science, and web development labs, choose between Discovery or Preparatory seminar tracks, hear from industry panels, and visit Silicon Valley companies. No prior programming experience is required. Students of any major are welcome, and the week ends with a participant-designed final project presented to the cohort.
