DSUA is open to all students with an interest in data science, with no formal membership process and no recruitment pressure. Members can participate as much or as little as they like. The club hosts student-led activities, career and networking events, skill-building workshops, and opportunities to connect with peers, alumni, and industry professionals. It's a low-stakes way to find study groups and build community within Berkeley's data science program.

AI in the Classroom
March 9, 7 PM at Evans 60. Lightning talks by Professor John DeNero (CS 61A, DATA 8) and Professor Joshua Grossman (DATA 100) on AI tools for learning, AI-assisted grading, and GenAI in higher education.
Data Bytes
January 23, 7:30 PM at Dwinelle 155. An event to hear about different data science organizations at UC Berkeley and meet their members.
First General Meeting
October 1, 6:00-7:00 PM at Etcheverry Hall 3106. Games, food, and a chance to connect with fellow students interested in data science.
