QC@B is Berkeley's only undergraduate quantum computing club, founded in 2016. Members participate in subgroups, seminars, speaker events, lab tours, company visits, and undergraduate research through the QUOR (Quantum Undergraduate Opportunities in Research) program. The club runs a student-taught DeCal on quantum algorithms each semester and maintains an open resource library. Membership is open to all majors and grade levels, with no background in quantum required to get started.

Deep Tech Conference 2023
A one-day inter-organizational conference co-hosted with Machine Learning at Berkeley, Blockchain at Berkeley, and Extended Reality at Berkeley. Featured 10+ student talks and 3 guest sessions from Classiq, SandboxAQ, and IBM Quantum, covering quantum computing, AI, blockchain, and extended reality. Held April 2023.
Quantum Algorithms DeCal (CS 198-148)
A student-run 2-unit P/NP course open to all Berkeley students covering quantum circuits, complexity, algorithms (Grover's, Shor's), Hamiltonian simulation, variational methods, and more. Two 1-hour lectures per week. No prior quantum background required.
Speaker Events
Regular speaker events featuring guests from quantum industry and academia. Past speakers have included representatives from IBM Quantum, SandboxAQ, and Classiq. Over 300 registered attendees reported.
iQuHACK (MIT Quantum Hackathon)
QCB members Ian, Kepha, and Jason competed as a team at MIT's iQuHACK quantum hackathon, taking on IonQ's Quantum Entanglement Distillation Game challenge.
