AALJ is the preeminent law journal in the U.S. focused on Asian American communities, and one of only two such journals in the country. Members edit and publish scholarly articles, essays, book reviews, and student notes on AAPI jurisprudence. The journal hosts an annual Spring Symposium and the Neil Gotanda Lecture in Asian American Jurisprudence. Membership includes Berkeley Law students, Bay Area law school external members, and UC Berkeley undergraduates through the Undergraduate Fellows Program.
