BTLJ is a student-run law journal covering intellectual property, high-tech, biotech, AI, and related fields. Members edit and produce four issues of scholarly work each year, including the Annual Review of student-written case notes. Beyond editing, members can write blog posts, host a student podcast, join the editorial board, and attend social events. No science background is required, only curiosity about how technology shapes the law.

Annual Spring Symposium: AI Governance at the Crossroads
The 28th Annual Spring Symposium, co-organized with the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, was held February 27-28, 2025 at Berkeley Law. Scholars, policymakers, and AI-industry participants from the U.S. and abroad discussed AI governance initiatives at the local, state, national, and international levels.
Fall Symposium: Race, Rights, and Innovation: Cultivating Equity in the Digital World
