PLA is a Berkeley Law student org dedicated to cultivating future plaintiff-side attorneys across areas like consumer rights, labor, antitrust, securities fraud, civil rights, and personal injury. Members get access to speaker events with prominent practitioners, a weekly newsletter with job and scholarship opportunities, a firm database, career guides, and connections to a plaintiff-side alumni network. The club also actively works to diversify the plaintiffs' bar and make the career path accessible to underrepresented students.
