BARE is UC Berkeley's completely student-run arts and culture magazine, founded in 2007 and recognized nationally by the New York Times and Teen Vogue. Each semester, members across eight departments produce an original themed print magazine covering social commentary, personal narrative, fashion, and multimedia design, then celebrate with a launch party. Contributors can write, shoot, design, style, build the website, run marketing, or manage the Artist Fund, which gives cash grants to Berkeley student artists.
