The Free Peach is UC Berkeley's student-run satirical publication, self-described as 'everything your relatives fear about Berkeley.' Members write and illustrate absurdist fake news, opinion pieces, drinking games, and quizzes lampooning campus life, national politics, and Bay Area culture. Writers pitch and publish regularly, graphic designers create custom art for each piece, and the whole thing runs with a masthead of editors, a social media team, and a merch chair.

Spring 2025 Info Session and Satire-Writing Workshop
Held Tuesday, February 4th at 8pm in the ASUC Senate Chambers on the 5th floor of Eshleman Hall. Staff provided information about the publication and commitments, answered questions, and ran a mini satire-writing workshop to help applicants.
