ASUC - Democratic Education at Cal
Education
DeCal is Berkeley's student-run democratic education program where students create and facilitate their own credit-bearing courses on topics the university doesn't typically offer. Courses span everything from molecular biology and neuroscience to stoicism, cricket, and Avatar: The Last Airbender, earning 1-2 units each. Students can enroll in any open course, and those who want to teach can propose and run their own class.
