BOAA is UC Berkeley's student group for animal rights activism and advocacy. Members attend weekly Tuesday meetings, run campaigns pushing the university to end factory farming partnerships and classroom dissections, and build community through potlucks, hikes, and sanctuary trips. Open to anyone from lifelong vegans to curious newcomers, the club combines direct action and education with a welcoming social environment. No prior experience or commitment level required.
