ALCSI is an all-volunteer nonprofit where students raise awareness about lung cancer screening for high-risk individuals. Members organize community outreach events at health fairs, farmers' markets, and religious spaces, run advocacy workshops, pursue legislative work, and conduct grassroots campaigns like the Plus One Campaign. As part of a nationwide network of 150+ chapters, Berkeley members gain hands-on public health advocacy and leadership experience while working alongside physicians and researchers.
