Delta Phi Epsilon is UC Berkeley's only co-ed professional foreign service and international relations fraternity, founded nationally in 1920 and at Berkeley in 1923. Members educate themselves on international affairs through speaker events, research, and debate; engage locally through philanthropy; and grow professionally via mentorship, alumni networking, and an internal newsletter called The Diplomat. Pledge classes complete lectures, meetings, and writing projects together. All years and majors are welcome.

Every semester, both the pledge class and active class hold events for the Berkeley public on pressing international issues of the day.
Member Experiences
External Dinners with Speakers
Active members attend regular external dinners with guest speakers and industry figures for personal, sit-down discussions on topics such as cyber-warfare, nuclear proliferation, and more.
Retreat
A chapter retreat for active members.
Philanthropy Events
Members engage with the international and local Berkeley communities for philanthropic events. Past partners include Voces y Manos, Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay, MedShare Medical Supply Redistribution, Center for Empowering Refugees and Immigrants, and the Prisoner's Literacy Project.
