CaHPSA at Berkeley organizes students around healthcare access and advocacy. Members join one of two committees: Project White Coat, where students become certified Covered California enrollment counselors and help community members enroll in Medi-Cal or other insurance, or Health Alerts, which tracks health policy, sends weekly updates, and engages legislators. Weekly Tuesday meetings run one hour. The club is open to undergraduates and health professional students of any major.
