Fighting for Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to spreading mental health awareness, breaking stigma, and educating the community through local events, a blog, and fundraisers. Members organize events featuring licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and therapy animals, produce written and video content on topics like depression and OCD, and run fundraising drives that have directed donations to organizations like NAMI and the Contra Costa Crisis Center. The club is rooted in peer storytelling and open conversation.

Mental health awareness event planned for Mar 21, 2020 at Dougherty Valley High School, featuring 3 speakers, food, therapy llamas, and painting. Canceled due to COVID-19.
FFH Dance Workshop
Fundraising event held in January 2021 that raised $350 for NAMI.
FFH x Interact Fundraiser
Collaborative fundraisers with San Ramon Valley Community Interact Club. Raised $510 for Contra Costa Crisis Center in June 2020 and $500 in April 2021, including restaurant fundraisers with Panda Express, Panera, and Chipotle.
