AMWA Berkeley is a pre-health professional development and community service organization for students navigating their premedical undergraduate careers. Members attend biweekly general meetings featuring guest speakers and skill workshops, join project-based committees focused on areas like cancer advocacy, childhood nutrition, or global/sexual health, and get matched with UCSF physician mentors. Active members also gain access to EMT-led hands-on workshops, volunteering opportunities, a Big/Little mentorship program, and an end-of-semester banquet.

Pre-Health Symposium
Annual fall event; free admission for active members.
CNE Farmer's Market Tabling
Bi-monthly tabling at the Berkeley Farmers Market with nutrition activities for kids and recipe handouts for families.
CWH Fundraiser
Fundraiser run by the Cancer Advocacy and Awareness committee; past fundraisers have donated proceeds to organizations such as the Women's Cancer Resource Center and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
GSH Bake Sale
Bake sale fundraiser run by the Global/Sexual Health committee.
DMC x CNE Friendsgiving and Canned Food Drive
Collaborative event between DMC and CNE committees combining a Friendsgiving celebration with a canned food drive. November 14, 2023.
