FGLI Grads builds community and support for first-generation and/or low-income graduate students at UC Berkeley. First-generation grad students are those whose parents or guardians earned less than a bachelor's degree; low-income grad students are generally those who were Pell Grant-eligible during undergrad. The group welcomes anyone who identifies with that mission, as well as Cal staff and faculty who want to support and advocate alongside FGLI graduate students.
