GlamourGals at Berkeley
Community Service/Nonprofit·Health/Wellness
GlamourGals at Berkeley is a chapter of the national GlamourGals Foundation, focused on ending senior loneliness through intergenerational connection. Members make monthly visits to local senior homes, giving residents manicures and makeovers while forming real relationships through conversation and companionship. Beyond the visits, members log service hours, can apply for a national scholarship once they reach a certain hour threshold, and take on leadership roles organizing events and running the chapter.
