Interfraternity Council (IFC)
Greek Life
The Interfraternity Council is the governing body that connects all 33 recognized fraternities at UC Berkeley, representing approximately 1,300 undergraduate men. IFC coordinates Greek-wide philanthropy, social events, risk management, and recruitment each semester. It serves as the official link between individual chapters and the university, and is largely self-governed by delegate representatives from each chapter who work alongside elected IFC officers on shared goals.
