La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda is a Latino-founded fraternity with a life-long commitment to "lifting as we climb", fostering the personal, academic, and career development of its Hermanos. Members pursue competitive professional development programs, support one another across generations through mentorship, and organize community events and scholarships for Latinx students. The UC Berkeley chapter (Beta Eta) was founded in 2011 as the first LUL chapter in Northern California.

Events They Host
Los Angeles Diversity Career Conference (LADCC)
Connects Latino and Black students to professional development programs, role models, and career roadmaps. Held at USC Fertitta Hall; past events expected around 150 attendees. Features opportunity programs including SEO, MLT, INROADS, and Riordan Programs.
California PATHE Mentorship Scholarship
Annual scholarship for Latinx students pursuing higher education in California. Applications open January 1 and close March 1 at 11:59 PM PST. Three awards of $250-$1,000 granted per cycle.
Member Experiences
Annual Hermano Summer BBQ (Para Siempre)
Annual reunion for Southern California alumni and undergrads. The 2019 event drew over 40 Hermanos from universities including Yale, MIT, Georgetown, Dartmouth, Duke, and UC Berkeley.
USC Homecoming Weekend
Annual multi-day Hermano tradition held in Los Angeles each October. Brings together alumni and undergrads from across the country for brotherhood, bonding, and USC football. Running since 2006.
LUL Alumni-Undergrad Tailgate
Held each fall around USC football games, particularly against Stanford, Notre Dame, and UCLA. Combines alumni and undergrad Hermanos at tailgates and viewing parties.
Hermano and Interest Dinner
Dinner for Hermanos and prospective interest members. Past events held in downtown Los Angeles.
Quarterly Professional Development Workshops and Networking Events
Hosted by Hermanos and chapters for PATHE Scholarship awardees, featuring professional networking opportunities.
