Lambda Theta Nu is a Latina-based sorority and the first Latina organization established at UC Berkeley (1991). Built on three pillars, academic excellence, community service, and sisterhood, members support each other through college and beyond. The sorority is known for distinctive traditions including stepping with machetes and strolling. Open to applicants regardless of race, national origin, or religion. Recruitment happens each semester through Silver Rose Week.

Silver Rose Week
Semester recruitment week open to interested women. Past events have included game nights, self-care nights, alumnae panels, spa nights, study jams, workshops, socials with fraternity brothers, and a mandatory informational session.

Social with the Brothers of Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Cross-organizational social event. Past editions have included a carne asada social and a sports-themed social.
