Phi Sigma Rho is a social sorority specifically for women in engineering and STEM fields. The Alpha Theta Chapter at UC Berkeley was founded in 2015 and centers on three values: friendship, scholarship, and encouragement. Members participate in internal events like study sessions, movie nights, and retreats, as well as external collaborations, social outings, and volunteer work. The chapter also supports professional development to help sisters succeed in historically male-dominated fields.
