MERGE Labels is UC Berkeley's mock music label, built to simulate the real music industry. Members are grouped into "subunits" that pair artists, managers, producers, songwriters, designers, and filmmakers to release songs, create albums, film music videos, host live performances, and culminate in an end-of-year awards show. The club welcomes all experience levels and all genres, with "MERGE" standing for Music Exploration Receptive to Genres and Engagement.
