NiCE is UC Berkeley's a cappella group dedicated to arranging and performing songs in both Japanese and English, spanning western pop, indie, anime, games, Vocaloid, and Japanese classics. Members practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 PM and Saturdays from 4-6 PM, working on singing fundamentals, music, and choreography together. Each semester wraps up with a public Showcase, and the group also performs at various live events throughout the year. No Japanese knowledge or prior experience required.
