Project SCIFI (the Scientific Coat Initiative for Future Innovators) is a nonprofit run by volunteer students that donates lab coats, goggles, and other hands-on science supplies to under-resourced K-12 schools in Northern California. Members fundraise, coordinate corporate and academic sponsorships, deliver resources to partner schools, and build mentor-mentee relationships with young scientists. The Berkeley Chapter also runs Experimental Innovation, which brings lab-based lessons directly into underserved classrooms.
