Splash at Berkeley is a completely student-organized program that invites local 9th-12th graders to UC Berkeley for a one-day event of student-led learning. Berkeley undergrad and grad students volunteer to design and teach their own classes on virtually anything, from Elementary Particle Physics to Intro to Improv Comedy to origami. As a Berkeley student member, you join a small admin team, help run the event twice a year, and can teach any topic you're passionate about.

Events They Host
Splash Spring 2026
One-day educational event at Dwinelle Hall, UC Berkeley. High school students (9th-12th grade) attend classes taught by Berkeley students on any subject. Runs 10 AM - 5 PM on Sunday, April 19th, 2026.
Parent Program
Held during the day of Splash at Dwinelle Hall, room 145. Parents attend guest lectures, workshops, and a UC Berkeley student panel covering topics like the college application process and Berkeley student life. Free to attend; walk-ins welcome.

Optional workshop offered each semester to help volunteer teachers prepare their Splash classes.
Teacher Lunch
Free lunch provided to all volunteer teachers on the day of Splash, held near the registration desk at Dwinelle Hall.
