Volunteers for Medical Outreach
Recruiting nowCommunity Service/Nonprofit·Pre-Health·Health/Wellness·Education
VMO is a club founded in 2008 that fundraises throughout the school year and travels to Vietnam every summer to run free mobile health clinics, hepatitis B vaccination clinics, and corrective surgeries alongside doctors, dentists, and pharmacists. During the year, members run Krispy Kreme and Banh Mi fundraisers, attend workshops on blood pressure measurement and CPR, and give health lessons to local daycare children. Trip members pay their own travel costs; all fundraised proceeds go directly to medical supplies.
