Berkeley New Music Project

Music·Research

The Berkeley New Music Project (BNMP) brings together UC Berkeley's graduate student and faculty composers to perform new music at Hertz Hall, presenting at least two concerts per year. BNMP features the Eco Ensemble, a Bay Area ensemble-in-residence that commissions and premieres works by Berkeley composers. The Eco Ensemble also collaborates with CNMAT to develop new instruments and technologies, and runs public outreach through lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and composer residencies.
