SDG Undergraduate Research Group

SURG is an undergraduate research group affiliated with the UC Berkeley Office of Sustainability and guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Members join working groups focused on a sustainability topic tied to the SDGs, contribute to a collaborative research report, and present findings to key stakeholders. The goal is to research local cross-cutting issues, empower undergraduate voices, and make research more accessible on campus.

First-ever Fall 2020 SURG Research Symposium held on Monday, December 7, 2020 via Zoom. Researchers presented their findings.
