Space Enterprise at Berkeley (SEB) is a liquid-fueled rocket team with one goal: become the first collegiate team to send a rocket past the Kármán Line (100 km) into outer space. Members design, build, and launch real rockets, working across subteams in propulsion, avionics, aerostructures, manufacturing, and simulations. SEB has an open admission policy, welcoming all majors and experience levels. No resume screen, no application filter, just commitment and passion for space.

Events They Host
High school rocketry outreach visits
Each semester, SEB visits local high schools to hold introductory presentations on rocketry and supports schools that have aerospace teams.
Lander Challenge milestone attempt
In Fall 2022, SEB became the first team to attempt any of the Lander Challenge's milestones, demonstrating thrust vector control of a liquid engine during a static fire.

Women in SEB socials
Multiple informal socials held across the year for female members, often including alumni. Current members and alumni share resources for professional and personal development.
Launch campaigns (Mojave Desert)
Members travel to the Friends of Amateur Rocketry launch facility in the Mojave Desert to conduct rocket launches and static fire tests. Past launches include LAD series solid rockets and Eureka liquid bipropellant vehicles.
