Student to Student Peer Counseling

Student to Student Peer Counseling

Health/Wellness·Community Service/Nonprofit

SSPC is a student-run organization founded in 1967 that offers free, confidential, one-on-one counseling to UC Berkeley students. Trained peer counselors use the Rogerian model, meaning they don't give advice but empower students to develop their own solutions through active listening and empathy. Sessions are available in-person at Eshleman Hall or online via Zoom. Students get up to 3 free sessions per semester and can drop in or book in advance.
