Pre-Medical Honor Society
Pre-Health·Academic Societies·Community Service/Nonprofit·Health/Wellness
PMHS is Berkeley's only pre-medical organization directly sponsored by the College of Letters and Science, founded in 1993. Members get Q&A sessions with physicians, info sessions with medical school admissions reps, in-house upperclassman mentorship, clinical and non-clinical volunteering opportunities, and professional development workshops on topics like MCAT strategy, interview prep, and finding research. A Slack channel posts ongoing volunteering, research, and career opportunities. Members also contribute to a student blog covering health topics and personal pre-med stories.
