Computational Biology at Berkeley is a student-driven community exploring the intersection of computer science, biology, and healthcare. Members work on research and project teams tackling current problems in computation and biology, attend educational workshops connecting theory with practical application, and network with faculty, alumni, and biotech companies. No prior bioinformatics experience is required. Collaborating organizations include UCSF, Google DeepVariant, and several therapeutics and genomics startups.
